FEES

Enrollment

There is an enrollment fee due at the time of enrollment. New students will be evaluated by the instructor during their first class and then placed in the appropriate level. The instructor may suggest a certain number of classes per week or recommend private lessons to build the technique required to transfer into higher level classes, which may be more appropriate for their age.

Classes and Levels

The academy level classes will follow a curriculum based on the Vaganova method. Academy levels start at level 1 through level 10.  Students will be evaluated for advancement at the end of the academic year, advancement decisions are at the discretion of the directors.

Students aged 3-6 may enroll in the pre-academy classes; placement in Bitty Ballet or Pre-Ballet will be at the discretion of the instructors. Bitty Ballet and Pre-Ballet are preparation for academy classes.

Ballet conditioning and stretch class is open to all students level 1-10 and will focus on training flexibility and strength needed for ballet. Beginning pointe classes are started in level 3.

Adult classes are open to students of all levels, ages 16 and above.

Performance and Competition

Stage productions will be offered twice yearly. Performance agreements will be available at the time of auditions, a performance fee is required for each student who dances in a production. Every student who auditions and pays the performance fee will be cast in the performance. There may be additional performance and learning opportunities available. Ask the instructor if you are interested in private classes, choreography and ballet competitions preparation.

Tuition

Enrolled students pay monthly tuition determined by the number of classes they are taking per week. Tuition is due on the 1st day of each month. A 5% late fee will be charged if tuition is not paid by the 5th of the month. Tuition payment is accepted by cash, check, credit card or online. You may also select monthly auto-pay for tuition payments.

Missed classes

Students may make up missed classes in the dancer’s current level or the level below. Missed classes can not be applied to future tuition or transferred to another student.
